The company is an innovator and industry leader in off-site manufacturing of loft conversions, extensions and conversions. We strongly believe that quality of the loft extension is increased by our work force. We employ all our own craftsmen – many of whom have carried out apprenticeships with the company. We have our own multi disciplined specialist staff/trades personnel and equipment to be able to successfully complete any project without having to rely on subcontract labour. Our in-house team of designers & builders ensure what ever project being worked on is completed with to an exceptionally high standard. This is true whether your project is, for example, a small extension or right up to a multi-million new build or refurbishment. We can work from architects drawings, as part of a wider team or on a design and build basis. We have experience with all forms of buildings – traditional brick and block, timber frame as well as our own full modular off site construction. More and more our building work is integrating renewable and sustainable technologies. With our continued commitment to training and improvement we are well placed to complete any building project.

Vacuum panels

Vacuum insulation panel technology has existed for many years, but only recently has it become commercially viable. This is mainly due to the development of lower cost, higher performing materials such as Vacupor®, Porextherm's proprietary microporous material based core. Traditionally Vacuum Insulation Panels (VIPs) have been seen as a tool to increase energy efficiency in various applications. However, because of their performance and design flexibility, they provide many more valuable application opportunities. These include increased volume in commercial and domestic refrigerators, increased shipping times for temperature controlled transportation systems, and reduced package size and weight for insulated shipping containers. Even applications in the building and construction sector are becoming more and more important, due to rising requirements to fulfill energy standards.
